Shou Sugi Ban Board - low sheen hand rubbed finish (processing time - 3 weeks)

Details:
These pine boards have been deeply burned and resurfaced to dramatically reveal their natural wood grain texture and wood grain appearance. They are sealed in a tung oil finish that penetrates into the wood providing protection while also providing a very natural and rustic look to the wood. This is the lowest sheen oil based finish available in my store.
These boards would be perfect for indoor shelves or side table tops. They would be beautiful used as indoor window or door trim, or made into a mantel or headboard. If you have another idea in mind for this style of wood, message me and we can talk about a custom order! I have many capabilities in my shop!
Maintenance:
These boards are sealed in a tung oil finish that is extremely easy to maintain. When you feel that the finish needs a fresh new coat just clean the surface well, let it dry, and you are ready to apply a new coat of Watco Tung Oil Finish, no pre-sanding is necessary. This finish can be found at most big box stores, and a lint free cloth is all you need to apply!
Hardware:
I make a lot of furniture using these boards and 3/4" industrial pipe and fittings. If you are interested in using industrial pipe for your project I can supply you with just what you need for an additional cost, just fill out a "Custom Order Request" and and we can start designing your piece together!
Contact is Important:
Item is made upon order. All 6 sides of the boards are burned and resurfaced. If you need a clean cut on the ends let me know before or as soon as you make your order, as I get started very quickly.
Shipping and Insurance:
You will be notified once your order has shipped. Every order shipped from my store is sent with a tracking number and is covered by postal carrier insurance.
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the recipient's address is correct and that the delivery location is safe and secure because your item is only insured until it is successfully delivered to the address given. Postal carrier insurance covers packages lost while in their possession during the shipping process or damages made during their shipping process, but it does not cover packages stolen after successful delivery.
**Customizations**
If you need a width or length that is in between the measurements listed above, choose the size that is closest to what you need. Before or as soon as you place your order, send me your exact measurements through one of the contact forms above. If you have any questions please feel free to message me and we will discuss further details.

If you need a thin or narrower board than what is listed above, message me before placing your order so I can make sure that your LxWxH measurements are compatible with this heavy burn process that creates their appearance. If your LxWxH measurements are not compatible with this heavy burn process then a light burn can be accomplished, message me for details or for pictures of what a light burn will look like.
If you need a board thicker than 1.25 inch (for example a 4x4 post or similar) contact me and we can discuss a more specific quote that fits your needs.
Cedar boards/posts are also available for this application at an additional cost. Message me for a quote.
Sealed "gator boards" are also available, in pine only, message me for more details about this option.
