I am Raven, the girl behind the torch! I am the creator, owner, and operator of everything at Fire and Iron Woodworks! I am passionate about my work and have mastered this craft through my love of enhancing the natural beauty of wood grain. After much experience crafting unique pieces, I am still in awe of how beautiful and unique this technique is on every board I burn. These exquisite pieces reflect both rustic and modern elegance. They are an upgrade of the classic and timeless natural wood aesthetic that complements any home decor.

I can create many different effects on these boards including but not limited to, a light or heavy re-torched Shou Sugi Ban, re-torched ends only, and the somewhat famous heavy char, aka “gator boards”, as I call them.
